I'm doing good how about you in Spanish?
If you are not sure if you are speaking Spanish correctly, you can ask people you know how they would respond to the same question in English. You can also check out if your grammar is correct by using a grammar checker. If you are unsure if your grammar is correct, you can ask a native Spanish speaker to help you out.
How are you doing?
How are you doing? is one of the most popular questions asked in Spanish. But, did you know that there are slight differences between asking this in formal or casual settings? When you're asking a friend, it's perfectly fine to say: Hola, como estás? Or, when you're meeting someone for the first time, you could say: Estoy bien, ¿y tú? To ask a coworker how they are, you could say: Qué tal?
How is life treating you?
Are you happy with your job? Are you making enough money to live comfortably? Do you deal with stress or anxiety on a daily basis? If you answered yes to any of these questions, that’s great! But if you answered no, you’re not alone. There are many reasons why people experience stress, including having a busy schedule, caring for an aging parent or living with a chronic illness.
¿Estás haciendo bien?
We use the verb hacer to talk about actions, and to talk about feelings, we use the verb estar. Try saying: Hago bien. Hace bien. Estoy haciendo bien. Can you see a difference?
How is your day going?
If you want to sound more natural in Spanish and make sure your conversation partner gets the right idea about how you feel, ask how their day has been. This is a simple but effective conversation starter and gets the ball rolling. Just make sure to use the present tense to describe what’s happening right now.
